Courtyard by Marriott Bridgeport Clarksburg

Had a great time at this hotel. Came here to spend the night as a "staging stay" for an event the next day in Elkins, WV. The whole experience was great, and the best part was the staff; everyone was really nice and very helpful. We had a couple drinks specials at the hotel bar (bloody mary and a black cherry old fashioned) which were really good, and out bartender was awesome. We ended up going to the TGI Fridays nearby for dinner, but the food on the hotel menu looked pretty good itself. The rooms were nice; suprisingly spacious. They're of the slightly older style with more furniture (couches, wardrobes) in them, but A. They've been kept up well, and B. I really like that; feels like a mini-apartment. The bed looked like it was going to be a little worn-in at first, but we slept great on it. Room had a fridge, microwave, and a coffee machine (with four sets of coffee). Bathroom was big, and the shower was great; lots of shelves for space, and the handle wasn't directly under the faucet, which sounds nitpicky, but makes a difference. All the common areas were in good shape, and they even had the firepit up and running in the back. The only downsides were the pool being small and a little dated/worn (but it was still nice to have a warm swim in the winter), the room tech was a little dated (no usb outlets, no streaming built-in to the TV), and the room views aren't anything special. But these are pretty minor complaints. If this hotel is near the area you need to travel, it'a a great option, definitely recommend.

This hotel was immaculate! Very clean and rooms were spacious. The lady working evening shift at front desk was awesome. Only issue was water didn’t get hot forever. One of the. I eat hotels I’ve stayed in. Thanks

Stayed here after a WVU game. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was good sized and spacious. The bed was pretty comfortable and clean. Bathroom was very clean and liked the walk-in shower. Location was convenient off of I-79 and could not hear any highway noise which was good. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent customer service and clean rooms. They also have a mini bar and food service. Free parking but no complimentary breakfast

Great hotel! Nice & clean rooms in a good location (close to Friday’s & Starbucks too). The service at the bistro was exceptional with very kind staff. John was the best and Madeline was equally as great! Garrah at the front desk was very approachable and interacted with my kiddos. I’d stay here again!

Wanted 2 room together (one reg and one wheel chair access). The were both down a long hallway with 2 room separating us. There was no free breakfast items available. The bestro was overpriced and the french bread pizza I ordered was very hard. I could have stayed at a less costly hotel and had a free continental breakfast. One light was out in my room as well as the cream rinse that was mounted on the shower wall out empty. Not what I expected from a 4+ star hotel

Highly recommend! We generally stay at Spring Hill Suites in Bridgeport but was more costly this time guessing because of large football game. I would definitely consider staying at this Courtyard location again! King bed was very comfortable!

My company recently had an event at this hotel and it was by far, the best experience we have ever had at a venue! The entire staff went above and beyond for us. They were courteous and extremely accommodating! I highly recommend this location if you are planning an event or staying in the area.
